Graduate of Slavic studies at the Jagiellonian University in Kraków. For many years has been working on improving Polish-Jewish dialogue, commemorating the Holocaust and educating about history and culture of Poles and Jews. He is engaged in fighting anti-semitism as well anti-Polonism. In his hometown Ochotnica, Tadeusz Królczyk is involved in commemorating the Polish and Jewish martyrdom. In 2009 he founded an informal educative group which a few years ago transformed into the Mifgash foundation.

Since 2017 she works at the International Center of Education about Auschwitz and the Holocaust in the Auschwitz-Birkenau Memorial and Museum, where she leads workshops and organises study trips for adults and teenagers. Katarzyna graduated history, political science and Roma studies at the Pedagogical University in Kraków. She is a scholarship holder of Paideia – The European Institute for Jewish Studies in Stockholm, Erasmus+ programme held in Beit Berl College in Israel. She is a vice president and a member of Mifgash Foundation.

Olga Danek is a Cultural Anthropology and Literature Ph.D student at Jagiellonian University. Her main focus of research is in the Jewish issues found within literature and culture in a post World War II society. Issues such as Jewish identity after the Holocaust, the Holocaust itself and March 1968. She is a member of the team of researches studying cultural and literary Polish-Jewish relations. Danek’s academic accolades include: History and Contemporaneity subsidized by the Foundation for Polish Science (Master Program) and is a recipient of the Foundation for Polish Science Scholarship. Danek has conducted her own writing workshops at Jagiellonian University, which dealt with the image of the Holocaust in cultural texts. Danek is a proud member of the Krakow JCC, humus lover and has a love for Eastern Europe and India.

Graduate of theology at the Pontifical University of John Paul II in Krakow. Also graduated Christian-Jewish relations studies and many courses on Judaism. Works as a catechist, theologist, educator and Judaism teacher. Moreover she is a guide in the Jewish quarter of Krakow. Developed the idea of workshops for children and adults “Get to know various religions” and anti-discrimination workshops. Her passions are teaching, history of Poland, theology, canonical law, Judaism and Jewish history. In her free time she discovers unknown places in Krakow.

Wojtek Huk is a student of the History department at Jagiellonian University and a licensed Krakow guide and tour guide. Residing in the historic Kazimierz district, Huk’s interests are not only limited to the history of the Jews of Krakow but range into contemporary topics. This is what brought him to the Krakow JCC at which he is a volunteer.

Magdalena Arabas not only is a highly qualified educator but also a very passionate one. Her area of focus is Jewish history of the 20^th century in Poland with a focus on the Jewish pogroms. Believe that the present is just as important as the past Arabas works at the JCC actively participates in the life of the Jewish community in Krakow. She loves traveling which allows her to get to know other cultures and religions.

Monika Biesaga received her doctorate from Jagiellonian University in Judaic Studies. Her adventure with Jewish culture began with a trip to Israel. Since her return from the Middle East almost 5 years ago her passion for Jewish studies only grows stronger with no end in sight!

Julia Gnatowska is a student of Jewish Studies with a fascination of contemporary art, soc-modernism and literature.  She is an English teacher and enjoys cooking and reading in her free time.

Justyna Arabska – a theater studies and culture studies scholar, a graduate of the Jagiellonian University in Kraków. An aspiring Jewish scholar as well, constantly pursuing her passion for the Jewish culture. Currently a postgraduate student at the Jagiellonian University Faculty of Polish Studies. Her interests include the performative body, the boundaries of artistic experience and the Jewish actor’s identity. She works with a number of Kraków’s theatres. She highly values her experience in working with the minorities. During her spare time she practices yoga and tries to catch up on watching movies about superheroes.

Student of cultural relations at the Jagiellonian University in Krakow. Her passions are linguistics, anthropology and multicultural dialogue. In her free time she loves cooking, baking sweets and discovering new recipes.

Graduate of Slavic studies, Jewish studies and ethnic relations and migration studies at the Jagiellonian University. She specialises in history of Jews in the Balkans. Currently works in a bank and trains financial analytics. In her free time she likes planning future travels and uses the culinary inspirations from past trips.

Graduate of Polish and Russian language and literature, currently a Polish language teacher. Her PhD thesis focuses on poetry of Aleksander Wat and Piotr Matywiecki, which she is writing at the Pedagogical University in Krakow. She is studying at the postgraduate programme on “Christian-Jewish Relations” at the Pontifical University of John Paul II in Krakow. She also graduated numerous courses on Judaism, Jewish culture and education about the Holocaust. Now she is participating in an academic project “The images of God, human and world in Polish literature of 20th and 21st century” carried out in the Institute of Jozef Tischner’s Thought. She is interested in history of film. Her free time she spends in a cinema or on long walks.

Student of Cultural Relations at the Institute of Intercultural Studies, Leader of Dialogue (granted by Forum of Dialogue). Since summer 2017 she leads workshops of School of Dialogue. Her interests are intercultural education and ethnic minorities. Her main goal is to build regional identity.

Graduate of the department of history at the Jagiellonian University, currently a PhD student at the Pedagogical University in Krakow. Israel and its inhabitants fascinate her. She can talk for hours about this country, especially its orthodox community. Her main academic interests are social relations in contemporary Israel, antisemitism and the Holocaust and Jewish cemeteries of Lesser Poland.
